Our Junior and Senior dance groups provide students with the opportunity to showcase their outstanding dance talent. Both dance groups are run by members of staff.
Junior Dance
The Junior Dance group consists of 31 students from Years 1-3. Students have been rehearsing a piece titled 'This is Me' which focuses on the important message of self-acceptance.
This dance will be performed at the CoS Concert on August 2.
Junior dance practise is held during lunch time on Mondays and before school on a Wednesday, starting at 8.15am.
Senior Dance
The Senior Dance group is made up of 28 students from Years 4-6. They are in the process of rehearsing a contemporary piece titled 'World of Bugs' which explores the theme of teamwork through highlighting the importance of bugs in our ecosystem.
The dance will be performed at 'Into the Spotlight' Festival on June 29 and also at the CoS Concert on August 2.
Senior dance practise is held during lunch time on Wednesdays and before school on a Friday.
