Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!
Our purpose
We support the school through a range of activities and events to enrich our school community and unite us around the shared goal of enhancing public education for our children.
- We apply for grants and organise events to raise funds to purchase additional resources for the school, improve school infrastructure and fund extra-curricular student-led projects.
- The P&C organise other events for student enjoyment such as discos, movie nights and Mother’s/Father’s Day stalls.
- Our volunteer run pre-loved uniform shop opens three times each term and provides second-hand uniforms at a low cost to assist families.
- An annual P&C award is given to selected students who demonstrate a commitment to our school community.
Recent achievements
- In 2025, we were successful in gaining grants totaling $121,000, which focused on enhancing the school’s adventure playground area and the installation of a water station that provides chilled, filtered water to the school community. The P&C topped up these grants to ensure all projects were complete and just perfect for the school!
- In 2024, we donated $5000 to the school to purchase new English and Maths curriculum resources. We also purchased new Chromebooks and library books.
- With our successful grant applications, we can leverage the funds we raise to make a bigger impact for students.
Upcoming events
Vacant executive position
The Secretary role is currently vacant. Duties include:
- Preparation of meeting agendas in conjunction with the president
- Sending notifications of meetings to members
- Taking minutes at P&C Association meetings
- Preparation of draft minutes
- Handling and tabling correspondence
- Dealing with administrative tasks related to meeting decisions
- Maintaining the official records of the P&C Association, including the constitution, by-laws, rules, policies and procedures, ABN details, register of members and meeting attendance.

Meetings - join us!
We meet twice each term, in Weeks 3 and 7 on Thursdays from 5pm-6pm, online and in person.
